FOREST HONEY (350 gms- Rare Edition)

₹ 499.00

Forest honey is produced by the Wild untamable Apis Dorsata and Apis Laboriosa bees. These are wild bees that build their hives in the natural forest ranges across India. Their nectar source includes 100 plus species of Flora in the forest including Karanj, Mahua, Mustard, Niger and Solas. The bees forage on the Medicinal herbs in the deep forest areas and hence the honey produced are a rich source of Antifungal, Anti-inflammatory and Anti-bacterial properties. The Forest honey is also very rich in pollen content, multifold times that produced by Apis Mellifera. The harvesters are mostly tribal people belonging to the concerned localities and have a very good understanding of the bees behaviour and have been doing this for generations.
